Educational Sciences Department started education in 2006-2007 academic year. The main function of the Educational Sciences Department is; to provide undergraduate education in the field of educational sciences, to conduct teacher training courses in the undergraduate programs of the faculty, to implement in-service training programs for administrators and teachers in primary and secondary schools and other educational institutions, and to conduct research in the field of education. In the Department of Educational Sciences; there are seven departments in total: Educational Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Assessment and Evaluation in Education, Instructional Technologies, Philosophical, Social and Historical Fundamentals of Education and Lifelong Learning.  There is an undergraduate program in the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling.

Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department has started to accept undergraduate students since the 2017-2018 academic year. It currently has students at all grade levels. When our students who graduated from the Guidance and Psychological Counseling department they can be assigned as a Guidance Teacher in primary and secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, private schools and schools affiliated to the Turkish Armed Forces and Police Organization, with the title of 'Pedagogue' in Courthouses, Child and Family Courts, in Guidance Research Centers, Special Education. and Rehabilitation Centers, Private Psychological Counseling Centers with the title of 'Psychological Counselor'. If they complete their master's and doctorate education, our graduates can also have the opportunity to work as academicians in various state or private universities.

The Educational Sciences Department also has been running the Pedagogical Formation Certificate Training Program since 2014.

The Department of Educational Sciences undertakes to conduct basic and applied original scientific research and organize scientific activities in the fields of education, training and teaching profession. As a department, our aim is to be a department that produces knowledge in the fields related to the teaching profession, finds solutions to the problems related to teacher training with scientific methods, is shown as an example with the equipped teachers it trains, and is honored to be a member and graduate, as well as educating the qualified teachers of the future.
